I keep getting a "Carry on" or "Cancel" menu, no matter what I do.

This means one of the setup scripts has just encountered a script run-time error (probably a stack-heap collision error, which is related to Second Life's memory issues).

To fix, simply perform a smart reset .

If that still doesn't work, IM Lulu Ludovico inworld.
