I have already completed setup, why do I suddenly get a "You need to setup your cuffs for the first time" message?

This could be one of two reasons:

• You have crashed or disconnected, which loses your current attachment settings (i.e. setup or transfer) and SL has reverted you to your last-saved version on the asset server , which is the pre-setup state.
• You detached your HUD to save your settings, and when you wore them again, it asks you to setup. More here.

If you were using HUD earlier than v.5 (e.g. v4.13.xx), the following might apply:

• You just completed setup, and rezzed the cuffs, and there was a stack-heap collision error. That means that SL memory issues has borked the setup (the HUD can only tell after the setup, and immediately re-sets the cuffs so that you will need to setup again). Get the latest version from the Update Switch.

Unfortunately, your only option is to setup again. Remember to activate any plugins after setup (not all Signature toys have plugins).

That is why it is important to save your settings after setup.
